Managing the coordinating address space (CAS)


The coordinating address space (CAS) runs as a subsystem and is used by most of the 

BMC AMI Ops

 products. It manages communication with other CASs on other local and remote systems and provides direct communication between an individual terminal session and a product address space (PAS).

Usually, one CAS runs on a single system image, but there is no limit to the number of remote systems with CASs with which a single CAS can communicate.
