For more information about any field in the METRICZ view, place the cursor on the field and press the Help key.
The following table describes the information in each column.
Column | Description |

View Count | How many views contain this element |
Dynamic Threshold | Whether or not a dynamic threshold has been defined for the element |
Field Help Title | Online Help name assigned to the metric |

Table Name | Table that contains the element |
Data Type | Whether the data is character or numeric |

You can use this view to find information about every metric available in a BMC AMI Ops product. You can use the LOCATE command to search the Element Name column by default, or you can issue the LOCATE command on any column to find the particular metric you want to examine and discover which views contain it.
Similarly, you can sort on any column to organize the list of metrics into configurations that are useful for your exploration. For example, by sorting on the Dynamic Threshold column in descending order, you can organize the list to display the metrics that have a defined dynamic threshold.
Additionally, by using filter masks, you can organize the list of metrics to suit your needs. For example, you can set a filter mask on the Table column to return a list of metrics that are contained in any specific table.
