BBSEC member


The BBSEC member that controls security for 

BMC AMI Ops SYSPROG Services

 and CSMON:

  • Contains security parameters in the form of a TYPE=SYSPROG statement
  • Must reside in SYS1.PARMLIB (or any data set in the z/OS Logical PARMLIB concatenation)

Note

  • The TYPE=SYSPROG statement is unique to BMC AMI Ops SYSPROG Services and CSMON. For complete information about the BBSEC member, see Creating the BBSEC member.
  • You should restrict update access to the data set that contains the BBSEC member.
