Stopping VTAM communication

Two methods are available for stopping VTAM communication.

When you quiesce communication with a CAS, VTAM communication does not terminate until all outstanding information requests are completed between CASs. By contrast, when you halt VTAM communication between CASs, VTAM communication terminates immediately, regardless of outstanding requests for information.
