Launching an Automation viewer


You can launch an automation viewer from an installation package provided by your administrator. This package may be a Windows installer (the file name ends in .msi) or a ZIP file.

  1. To start the viewer, select BMC AMI Ops Console Automation Viewer from the Windows Start menu, or double-click mvcm-automation-viewer.exe if running the zip file.
  2. Run the mvcm-automation-viewer.exe file.
  3. In the Host and Port fields, enter the host name and the port.

    Important

    The host name is the computer name of the server that is running BMC AMI Ops Console Management, and the port is the HTTPS port. The default port is 443.

    After you enter the host name, the product sets a timer and lists the viewers.

  4. Click Connect.
    The login panel appears.
