Console Consolidation

The following table describes the UI features on the Console Consolidation Servers page:
Feature | Description |
---|---|
Advanced filter | Filters the table by name, status, type of Startup, type of Startup Host, and any other additional information |
Expand all | Expands all the rows in the list of Consolidation Servers |
Collapse all | Collapses all the rows in the list of Consolidation Servers |
Server Name | Defines the name assigned to the server |
Status | Indicates whether the server is running The running status indicates that the server is running. The stopped status indicates that the server is not running. |
Startup | Indicates the startup mode:

Startup Host | Displays the name of the host on which the server is deployed. |
Additional information | Displays any additional information about the server. |
New Server | Creates a new Console Consolidation Servers configuration. |
Console Report | Redirects you to the Console Report page, which contains a table with a summary of all defined CCS consoles The summary includes connection information like CCS server name, console name, TCP/IP listen ports, upstream IP address, port information (of the OSA-ICC controller), and the LU on the controller. You can also click the Export Comma Separated Values (CSV) button to export the provided information in a CSV file and download the file on your computer. Click Advanced Filter to sort any field as per the values that you specify. |
Actions | Provides a list of actions that you can perform on a server. For more information, see the List of operations in the Action column. |
List of actions in the Action column
In the Actions column, click the button corresponding to an added server to expand the list of action items.
The following table defines the action items:
Action item | Description |
---|---|
Start | Start the server. This button is now disabled and the Stop button is enabled. |
Stop | Stop the servers. The Start button is now disabled and the Start button is enabled. |
Edit | View and modify the server configuration. Click Save to save your changes and exit to the main page. |
Copy | Click to create a new server instance with the settings copied from the selected server. Assign a name to the new server and the Configuration Editor page appears. |
Delete | Delete the server you have selected. |
Socket Connect | Connect to the available socket connections. |
TN3270 Connection | Connect to the available TN3270 connections. |
Logs | Open a new logs window, which allows you to manage, view, delete, or download the log files available for this server. |
+ New Console | Start a new console. |
