Command Review


On the Command Review page, product administrators can configure a list of critical commands, and see the list of command approvers assigned by user administrators.

Command approvers can then approve or reject Console commands submitted by non-approver users. For details about assigning the command approver role to users, see Creating-or-editing-a-user-account.

In the New Command window, you can configure critical commands by selecting one of these conditions: Equals to, Starts With, Ends With, and Contains

Important

The maximum character length is 126 characters. The maximum description length is 256 characters.

The list of configured commands is displayed in the commands table.

Enter the critical command to be configured.

Important

  • All commands are case-insensitive. Example: D T and d t
  • Extra whitespaces are ignored. Example: D T and D    T

Description

Enter a description of the configured command.

Created date | By

Date when the command is created and the login ID of the user who created the command

Modified date | By

Date when the command is modified and the login ID of the user who modified the command

Actions

Delete, Edit, and Enable or Disable a specific command

Use the table Actions button to perform the following tasks:

  • Delete, Enable, or Disable selected commands from the table
  • Export all commands in the table and import new commands by using a CSV file

Command Approvers tab

This tab displays a list of users who have been assigned the command approver role.

Important

Only user administrators can assign the command approver roles; however, product administrators can view the list of approvers.

Displays the login ID associated with the user account

User Name

Displays the user name for a user account

Description

Displays additional information about the user
