General tab
The following table describes the General Properties section:
UI feature | Description |
---|---|
Server Name | Enter the server name. |
Server Description | Enter a description of the server functionality. |
Viewer port | The BMC AMI Ops Console Automation server listens for viewer connections by using the TCP/IP port. The BMC AMI Ops Console Management web configuration automatically generates this after creating the server. |
Watchdog startup script | RDL code that is executed when the Automation server starts the Watchdog-session. This would normally be a function call, for example: startCounters() |
Message Cache Size | Enter the number of messages to be held in the message cache. This is the minimum number of messages for all sessions (Consoles, HMCs, etc.) to be available for viewers when they connect for scroll-back. |
JVM heap size settings | Enter the JVM heap size. |
Require client certificates | Click the toggle button to require authentication certificates to be sent from the BMC AMI Ops Console Automation viewer running on the client desktop. This requires setting up a certificate trust store on the computer running BMC AMI Ops Console Management, and all operators must have appropriate certificates set up in their Windows certificate store. For more information, see Establishing a PKI certificate trust store. |
