Automation Servers


The Automation Servers page lists the existing console automation servers. You can also use this page to create, edit, or delete a new console automation server.

You can use the Actions column to perform the following actions on an existing server:

Actions

Description

Start

Starts the server. The Start button is disabled and the Stop button is enabled.

This option is enabled if the server is both stopped and not disabled.

Stop

Stops the server. The Stop button is disabled and the Start button is enabled.

This option is enabled if the server is running.

Edit

Opens the General-tab for you to view and make changes to the server and the console sessions controlled by the server

Copy

Creates a new server instance with the settings copied from the selected server

You are prompted for the name of the new server. If the name is correct, the General-tab is displayed.

Important

If this new server is intended to run at the same time as the original server, you must change those settings, especially the Client Access port numbers because they conflict with the original server.

Delete

Deletes the server configuration.

You are prompted to confirm your request before the server is deleted.

Logs

Opens a new Viewing log

You can view, delete, or download the log files available for this server.

Click +New Server or Edit to configure the following tabs in the Automation Server:
