Using the Rules Management application programming interface (API)

Using the Rules Management application programming interface (API) in a REXX EXEC has the same effect as creating and managing Rules Management Rules from Rules Management user interface. Use the Rules Management functions is EXECs to automate with Rules from both inside and outside of the BMC AMI Ops environment.

Some of the Rules functions that you can schedule from REXX EXECs include the following actions:

  • Add, change, or delete Rules Rules Management Rules in the Rules registry
  • Create lists of Rules
