The Rules registry is a Runtime Component System (RTCS) registry that is used as a repository for Rules-specific information.

A single registry can be used by a single BMC AMI Ops Automation PAS or, it can be shared by multiple BMC AMI OpsA PASs, which is also called an AOPLex.
