The following table shows the possible values for TOMRC and what they mean.

Return code	Explanation
0	Command was completed successfully.
08	OBJECT, SET, DAY, PERIOD, TIME, CALSET, CALBASE, SYSPLEX, OBJBASE, LAYERPLEX, SYSLAYER, or PLEXLAYER does not exist.
12	MAMADMIN request error occurred.
16	Syntax error occurred.
32	Registry is full.
36	Object or set in use by another user.
100	No active TOMs meet your criteria.
101	Both OBJECT(‘name’) and SET(‘name’) were specified.
102	TOM is not active.
104	Invalid command submitted for a remote sysplex.
105	Command is invalid because of an inactive Definition Base.
140	Function is invalid.
144	TOM CAS is not active.
145	RTCS is not active.
148	Request timed out and can be re-tried.
210	The requested TOMID or TOMPLEX is not TOM version 2.x and is not compatible with this version.

Note

If the function fails, the LINE.EXCEPT.0-n variables will contain the reason for the failure. It is a good practice to code EXECs to check the TOMRC variable after the function and display the LINE.EXCEPT.n variables when the TOMRC variable is a non zero value.
