Example of manually deploying a Rule Set
To deploy a Rule Set using the DEPLOY primary command
Display the RULESET view.

Replace Ruleset(s).: YES (Applies to all selected rulesets)
Note: 'Replace' refers to replacement in the registry only. Use the
'Activate' option to install the ruleset in the running target PAS
and to Enable it.
Activate Ruleset(s): YES (Applies to all selected rulesets)
Note: 'Activate' is only effective when the ruleset is already a member
of the PAS Definition in use by the target PAS. If the ruleset is
not, then 'Activate=YES' will return an error for the ruleset.
Next to goto next step
CANcel to exit without deploying
HELP to go to HelpSpecify YES for the Replace Ruleset(s) and Activate Ruleset(s) fields and enter Next to go to the next step.
The Ruleset(s) Deployment (2 of 3) dialog is displayed.
Confirm the Ruleset(s) that you want to Deploy.

HELP to go to the online helpThe S column is used to select or exclude a listed item for deployment. Type S to select an item. Leave the field blank to exclude an item. You can also customize the Replace and Activate options for each item individually.
In this example, the AAORUL01 Rule Set has been selected to be replaced and activated by the deployment.
Enter Next to proceed to the next step.
The Targets dialog is displayed.
Select the Targets for the deployment.

SELECTALL to select all listed targets of context
UNSELECTALL to unselect all listed targets of context

CANcel to exit without deployingInitially, the Context field displays the context or target that was entered with the deploy command. This field is empty if context or target is not specified. If the field is empty or you want to change the deployment target(s), enter a full or generic context and press ENTER to see a list of contexts
To select a context, enter the S command (for Select) and choose a context from the list or, type a context name in the field and press ENTER.
Enter Deploy in the COMMAND field to start the deployment.
