Command syntax for TOMEXEC functions

The TOMEXEC functions provide automation services that you can use in an EXEC to perform TOM functions such as starting or stopping an object. Many of the line commands from the online views have equivalent functions with TOMEXEC functions.

The command syntax is the keyword TOMEXEC FUNCTION|FUNC, followed by the function name parameter (such as ACTIVATE, BLOCK) and parameters.

TOMEXEC FUNCTION(functionName)|FUNC(functionName) [optionalParameters]

Note

TOMEXEC processing accepts either the KEYWORD(value) or KEYWORD=value for all parameters.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
