What has changed about EXECs in BMC AMI Ops Automation version 8.3

This version has added or modified the following EXEC commands; for more information, see the Using-advanced-automation-with-BMC-AMI-Ops-Automation.

The following IMFEXEC CICS ALTER parameters have been added:

  • DSNAME 
  • DUMPDS 
  • System 
  • TRANSACTION
  • WLMHEALTH

The following commands support a new parameter, DELAY | DLY that allows you to schedule automation that requires a delayed action: 

  • AOEXEC CMD Type(MVS)
  • AOEXEC SELECT EXEC
  • IMFEXEC CMD Type(BBI | MV | IMP | IMS | MQS)
  • IMFEXEC SELECT EXEC
