BMC AMI Ops Automation parameters in AAOPRMxx

BBPARM members AAOPRMxx contain the parameters that control certain functions of 

BMC AMI Ops Automation

.

To modify an AAOPRMxx member, type S in the Cmd field of the Dynamic Parameter Manager panel. The following figure shows an example of the panel.

You can use the ACTIVATE command or the BBI control command .RESET for BBPARM member AAOPRMxx to reset all of the values specified in AAOPRMxx. These actions also occur any time the BBI-SS PAS is restarted with WARM or COLD specified.

Note

You cannot dynamically reset the values of the AAOPRMxx keywords AOOPTION, MPFFILTER, and RULESET when you use the Activate command in DPM or use the BBI control command .RESET. The only way to reset the values for the AOOPTION, MPFFILTER, and RULESET keywords is to restart the BBI-SS PAS with WARM or COLD specified.

The Dynamic Parameter Manager can update AAOPRMxx with the changes, however the PAS must be restarted (warm or cold) for the changes to take effect.

Use this panel to see a list of all the AAOALSxx, AAOARPxx, AAOEXPxx, AAOPRMxx, and AAOTSPxx members in BBPARM.

From this panel, you can

  • Use the line commands; see Line-commands-and-fields for more information
  • Use the primary command ADD to add a new members
    To add a new member or members, type the following command on the COMMAND line, where xx is a new suffix for a new member:
    ADD AAOPRM xx
