Resetting the monthly MSU limit for the active policy

If the monthly MSU limit is significantly different from the initial MSU limit, you might want to reset this value. For example, if you remove LPARs from the policy, additional MSUs are not required.


Use the following procedure to reset the monthly MSU limit to zero:

  1. From the master console, issue the following command:

    /F <masterPas>,RESET

After the value is reset, iCap adjusts the MSU limit to the initial MSU limit or to another suitable value.

Important

iCap ignores the MODIFY command if you issue it to a PAS other than the master PAS.
