Modifying a policy

Use the following procedures either to change the policy temporarily (without changing the saved policy definition), or to make lasting changes to the policy definition itself:

Warning

Important

If you make changes to the iCap environment, ensure to update the active policy to incorporate the changes. For example, the following changes require updates to the policy:

  • Adding a new CPC and LPARs
  • Adding new LPARs to a capacity group
  • Adding extra capacity to a CPC
