Validating a policy definition
Before you can activate a policy, you must confirm that the policy definition is valid and that you have the correct security access to manage the LPARs and groups specified in the policy.
On the POLDSPLY view, type VALIDATE on the COMMAND line.
If there are errors in the policy definition, update the policy to correct the errors. For more information, see Fixing-policy-errors.
