Pattern matching for binding agent names

The rules for naming Binding Agents are identical to the rules for data set names. The only considerations are that Binding Agent names can only be one or two levels and a second level name can start with a non-alpha or special character. For example:

PROD

is a valid one level name.

PROD.AR or PROD.1A

are also valid two-level names.

PROD.AR.PAY

is an invalid Binding Agent name because it has more than two levels.

All pattern matching rules are the same as data set name matching rules with one exception: because only two level names are possible for Binding Agents, the use of double asterisk as a wildcard character is meaningless.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
