This command allows you to remove a SYSOUT Printing Services definition.

Syntax

Description

? | HELP

Requests the command syntax from HELP.

name

Specifies the name for the definition of SYSOUT characteristics that you want to remove. It must be 1 to 8 alphabetic, numeric, or national characters long. This is the name specified when the SYSOUT definition was defined.

Important

  • If you remove the only SPS SYSOUT definition remaining in a system, output is printed in SYSOUT class A, HOLD status ($DEFAULT).
  • $DEFAULT cannot be removed.
