Syntax

Description

? | HELP

Requests the command syntax from HELP.

name

Specifies the name for this definition of SYSOUT characteristics. It must be 1–8 alphabetic, numeric, or national characters long. This is the name specified as the DESTINATION when printing using SPS.

If you do not specify a specific name, a summary of active SYSOUT names is displayed.

In the summary display, the M (for MORE) column is used to flag SYSOUT definitions that have characteristics defined that are not displayed. In this example, VAULT has further characteristics. These can be displayed by requesting a display for the specific name:

Characteristics whose values are defaults (blank or zero) are not displayed.
