JBS RESET


This command resets a resource element on the system from which the command was entered, or optionally, on another system in the JESplex.

Syntax

Description

? | HELP

Requests the command syntax from HELP.

resourcename

Specifies the name of the resource element to be reset, and can be 1-16 alphanumeric, national ($, #, @) or embedded underscore (_) characters.

SYSTEM(system | ALL)

Indicates that the named Resource Element is to be reset on the specified system.

  • system - Specifies a 1 through 4 character JES2 system ID.
  • ALL - Indicates that the reset applies to all systems.

Important

The specified Resource Element is placed in the RESET state. When a Resource Element is in this state, it cannot be used to make an Environment available.
