Managing CPC Configuration

After building cost models, Cost Management uses IBM default rules for sub-capacity licensing to produce a configuration of your CPCs. The configuration defines the default pricing metric type and PricingPlex grouping for each CPC. You should verify and if needed edit the initial configuration so that each CPC has correct values defined.

Cost Management uses the most recent cost model to produce the configuration; you have access to the configuration after running a Model Builder Task for the first time. For more information, see Scheduling-Model-Builder-Tasks

After the initial configuration, any new CPCs are added automatically, but any changes to the existing configuration will not be recorded. For instance, you must manually update the configuration if the PricePlex of a CPC or the Pricing Metric changes.
