Use the Manage TFP Configurations tool to create multiple solutions for your TFP configuration. You can also select a solution for DevTest.

Important

You can mark only one solution for DevTest in each TFP configuration.

When you launch the Manage TFP Configurations tool, the Manage TFP Configurations dialog box is displayed. By default, there are no TFP configurations available. After you add TFP configurations, the Available TFP Configurations field lists them.

The Manage TFP Configurations fields are as follows:

#	Field	Description
1	Available TFP Configurations	Lists the TFP configurations that you create
2	Click here to create a new TFP Configuration	Creates a TFP configuration
3	Add	Adds or creates a TFP configuration
4	Modify	Modifies an existing TFP configuration
5	Remove	Removes a TFP configuration

You can create or add TFP configurations using the Add TFP Configuration dialog box. For each TFP configuration, you can create solutions by using the General, Cost, and LPARs options.

The Add TFP Configuration fields are as follows:

#	Field	Description
1	Name	(Required) Enter a name for the TFP configuration
2	Description	(Optional) Add a description for the TFP configuration
3	Distribution Start	(Required) Enter the year and month to calculate the annual MSU entitlement
4	Create Solution	Create one or more solutions for a TFP configuration To add a solution to a TFP configuration, use the General, Cost, and LPARs tabs.
5	Delete Solution	Delete a solution from a TFP configuration
6	Template	Lists the TFP configurations that you save
7	General	The General tab includes: Solution Name: (Required) Enter a solution name Solution ID: (Required) Enter the solution ID provided by IBM IS DevTest: (Optional) Select to include the solution for DevTest Important When you select IS DevTest: The Annual MSU Entitlement field on the General tab is replaced by Monthly Peak R4H4 MSU Entitlement field. The Cost per MSU field on the Cost tab is replaced by DevTest Fixed Cost field.
8	Cost	The Cost tab includes: Annual MSU Entitlement: (Required) Enter the number of MSU that you are entitled to based on your agreement with IBM. Cost per MSU: (Required) Enter the cost defined for each MSU when within your MSU entitlement limit. Cost per MSU Over Entitlement: (Required) Enter the cost defined for each MSU after you exceed your MSU entitlement limit.
9	LPARs	The LPARs tab includes: Add LPARs to Solution: (Required) Lists the LPARs Month picker: (Optional) Select a month for cost modeling (displays all the LPARS available for the month) Solution LPARs: Displays the LPARs that you select Remove: Delete an LPAR from a solution
