Pricing Metric types

To add a pricing metric

In the MSU Cost Editor, click on the Edit link corresponding to the product name for which you want to select a pricing metric.

In the cost coefficient editor, from the Pricing Metric Type list, select one of the following pricing metrics:

• AEWLC
• AWLC
• CMLC
• EWLC
• FWLC
• MzNALC
• VWLC
• ZNALC

To add AEWLC, AWLC, EWLC, FWLC, VWLC, ZNALC pricing metrics

1. From the Pricing Metric Type, select one of the following:

   • AEWLC
   • AWLC
   • EWLC
   • FWLC
   • VWLC
   • ZNALC

   

2. (Required) Set the Base charge.

   Important

   For Flat Workload License Charges (FWLC), you can only enter the flat price as MSU ranges do not apply to this type.

3. Edit the cost coefficients values in the Cost Coefficient table, entering the coefficients provided in your IBM License Agreement.For each level in the MSU range, you can specify the cost coefficient associated with this MSU usage.

   Important

   You can perform the following functions for all the cost coefficients in the cost table:

   • Click Reset to defaults to reset the values of the selected Price Metric to zero.
   • Specify a percentage and click Apply to increase or decrease the cost coefficients by a percentage.

   

4. After editing cost coefficients, click Accept.Cost Management applies your changes and closes the dialog box.
5. Edit the products you have selected, click Save Changes.

To add MzNALC and CMLC pricing metrics

1. From the Pricing Metric Type list, select MzNALC or CMLC.
   
   
2. (Required) Set the Base charge.
3. Click each Cost Coefficient table to edit the cost coefficients values, entering the coefficients provided in your IBM License Agreement.
4. (Required) Enter a value in the MSU Base field.

5. (Required) Enter a value in the Base Factor field.

   Important

   The MSU Base and Base Factor values are estimated according to the Country Multiplex Pricing requirements.

6. (Optional) Enter a value in the Cost Adjustment field for cost adjustments.
7. Click Accept.
