To install Cost Management on MS Windows server
Perform the following steps to install Cost Management on a MS Windows server:
Step 1: Prepare the Windows server for use with Cost Management.
Step 2: Install the Capacity Database Web Services.
Step 3: Install the database client components.
Step 4: Set up a database to use as a Capacity Database Web Services repository for Cost Management.
Step 5: Set up the Capacity Database Web Services to use Windows Authentication.
Step 6: Create an ODBC Data Source Name (DSN) entry.
Step 7: Add a Database to the Automator Catalog.
Step 8: Set up scheduled operations for Cost Management.
Step 9: Set up BMC AMI Cost Management - iStrobe integration.
