Using the drill-down levels in the MLC Monthly Summary Report, you can analyze:
- A specific CPC to compare the R4HA MSU Utilizations for each MLC Product. For more information see CPC level.
- A particular MLC Product to compare the R4HA MSU Utilizations for each LPAR on which the MLC product is active. For more information see MLC Product level.
Using the hyperlinks available at each level, you can:
- Compare average hourly MSUs to the R4HA
- Compare average hourly MSUs to mobile transaction activity of specific LPARs
- Compare MSU Utilizations of workloads operating on LPARs
- Generate and view Job/STC Reports that show details about the 50 most active batch jobs. For more information, see Viewing-Job-STC-Reports-for-workloads and Working-with-the-Job-STC-Report.
MLC Product level
The following figure shows a sample of an MLC Monthly Summary Report's MLC Product level that lists the LPARs on which the MLC Product is running and the R4HA MSU Utilization data. The information in this drill-down view is determined by the CPC context and the MLC Product context of the hyperlink.
Note
If any of the LPARs in this report contains mobile transaction activity, an additional column details the aggregated MSU reduction values. For more information see Working-with-combined-MSU-reduction-data.
The following table lists the description of each column header:
Column header | Description |
---|---|
LPAR Name | Name of the LPAR included in the report |
Group Name | Name of the group |
Sysplex Name | Name of the Sysplex used |
R4HA MSU Utilization Weight | Percentage this LPAR contributed to the CPC First Peak R4HA value. |
LPAR at MSU R4HA First Peak | Value is determined by the sum of R4HA of the LPARs on which this MLC product was running during this interval. |
