• BMC AMI Ops Automation for Capping

The BMC AMI Capacity and Cost Solutions helps customers to optimize system monitoring and LPAR utilization, and subsequently, significantly reduce their Monthly License Charge (MLC) software costs. The solution gives you the tools needed to:

• Determine when capacity limits should be increased (to allow business critical workloads to process), and when capacity limits should be enforced (when discretionary workloads are present and can be delayed)
• Identify the factors that are driving MLC software costs, and the tradeoffs between cost and utilization, which enables more informed budget planning
• Identify software cost impact of adding, growing, and reducing workloads
