Managing calendar events
To add a calendar event
From the Manage Shift Profiles, click Calendar.
The Manage Calendar Events dialog box is displayed.If you are creating an event for the first time, the Calendar Events section is blank.
If you have created events in an earlier version, the Calendar Events section displays those events.
- In the Manage Calendar Events, enter the event date and description.
Clear the Exclude from analytics check box to include the event for analytics.
Clear the Mark date in chart views check box to exclude the date from chart views.
- From the Marker Color list, select a color for the new event.
Click Add Calendar Event, and click Accept.
The Manage Shift Profiles tool saves the event in the calendar. The new calendar event has the selected color as its background.
If the Mark dates in chart views is checked, the background color is shown on the chart views. If the Mark dates in chart views field is cleared, the background color is defaulted to WhiteSmoke.- In the Manage Shift Profiles, click Save Changes.
To modify a calendar event
- In the Manage Calendar Events, click on the event that you want to modify.
The fields on the left side of the dialog box are populated with the event data. - Modify the event, click Modify Calendar Event, and then click Accept.
- In the Manage Shift Profiles, click Save Changes.
To remove a calendar event
Click next to the event.
