Installing BMC AMI Capacity Database Web Services

This topic describes the requirements and procedures for installing BMC AMI Capacity Database Web Services (formerly BMC CDB) in a Windows environment. 

Important

  • Only an administrator can install Capacity Database Web Services.
  • To run the BMC AMI Capacity Reporting product, you must install version 1.7.00 or higher of BMC AMI Capacity Database Web Services.

Before you set up the BMC AMI Capacity Database Web Services:

  • Make sure that version 2.1.00 ofUniversal Information Exchange component is installed.

  • Close all open files and applications. If the installation program cannot overwrite certain system files, you might have to restart your computer when the installation is complete.
