Saving or discarding user changes

You can save changes to local storage or to the server. You can also discard them. 

To save user changes locally

To save changes without committing them to the server, click Save Changes Locally and Exit.

Next time you open that tool, the saved changes are restored to the tool.

If you attempt to exit with unsaved changes, you are prompted to:

  • Commit the changes to the server
  • Discard the changes
  • Save the changes locally

To commit changes to the server

To commit changes to the server, click Commit.

To discard changes

To discard changes that are not committed to the server, click Discard Changes.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
