Opening the Configuration Tool

This topic explains how to open the Configuration Tool.

To open the Configuration Tool

  1. From the Start menu, select BMC AMI Capacity Management > Service Framework Configuration Tool.
  2. On the Configuration Tool Start page, click Open Configuration File or Open in the toolbar.

  3. Select the .CONFIG file that you want to configure.The Configuration Tool opens with the current settings for that .CONFIG file.

    Note

    Only one .CONFIG file can be opened in the Configuration Tool at a time. When you finish with one .CONFIG file, click Open to open a different .CONFIG file.

    When you select a .CONFIG file in the Configuration Tool, a list of configuration options for that .CONFIG file is displayed. When you click on an option, a short description appears at the bottom of the right pane.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
