Configuring TCP/IP settings
When you install BMC Performance Predictor for Mainframes, you need to choose the port number or accept the default setting of 2052 for the host and the local ports. Your selections must be within the range of 1025 to 5000. These port numbers do not need to match. The TCP/IP Settings dialog box appears as shown in the following figure.
Checking the TCP/IP settings
This dialog box shows the default settings for the Host and Local ports. If you want to change either setting, do so in this dialog box. However, you do not need to change the settings unless you have a conflict with another product.
