Step 5. Specify global CSI data set name
When you press Enter in the previous step, the screen shown in the following figure displays the name of the Global CSI data set. A status message indicates whether the CSI data set exists.

Global CSI dataset currently does not exist.
If you do NOT want to use this CSI name, type in a new CSI name or
erase the field and press Enter to set it to the default.
The data set displayed will be used as the SMP/E Global CSI data set. If you wish to use a different name, overtype the data set name shown.
If the data set does not exist, a jobstream will be generated to build and initialize it with the requiredBMC AMI DevX parameters. The data set name for Global CSI cannot exceed 42 characters.
If it currently exists, a jobstream will be generated to add the appropriate parameters to the CSI. You should review the resulting jobstream and compare the generated parameters to any pre-existing SMP/E parameters.
- Verify that the global CSI data set name is correct. Change the name or specify a new name if necessary.
- If necessary you can specify storage parameters for the global CSI data set name to override the default parameters.
- Press Enter.
