Part 1: Customize installation JCL with ISPF

The BMC Installer consists of a set of REXX EXECs, JCL skeletons, and panels. This facility prompts you for the installation information and then builds the jobs required to perform the SMP/E installation.

The BMC Installer then uses that information to build the jobs needed to complete the SMP/E installation of your ordered BMC AMI mainframe products. This facility enables you to install all ordered mainframe products at one time or optionally only a selected subset of your ordered products.

Depending on your product selection and installation choices, you may see additional screens or not see all of the screens documented herein.
