Additional Reporter Parameters

The Parameters field of the Measurement Session Data report shows parameters you specified on the Strobe - TAILOR REPORTS panel.

  • ALLCSECT indicates that a report line for each inactive control section will appear in the Program CPU Usage report. Normally, the report does not list inactive control sections.
  • ALLDD indicates that you requested to show all ddnames, including those that show no activity, in the Resource Demand Distribution and Time Distribution of Activity Level report. The default is to show only the 11 ddnames with the highest activity.
  • ALLTASK indicates that you requested to show all tasks, including those that show no activity, in the Resource Demand Distribution and Time Distribution of Activity Level report. The default is to show only the six tasks that display the highest execution activity.
  • COLLHIST (AutoStrobe users only) Create measurement session history record.
  • COMMON
  • DEBUG
  • DSA
  • EXPLAIN
  • DASDGAP indicates the number of inactive contiguous cylinders that you specified to pass over while continuing to accrue CPU expenditure as reported on the DASD-level breakdown of the I/O Facility Usage report. The larger the value in this field, the more concise the report. The default value is five.
  • DETAIL=[{modname|(modname1, modname2,...)}] Detail system modules.
  • GFDSN
  • GFUNIT
  • GFVOL
  • ISHRTNM
  • ISTRDES
  • ISTROBE
  • ISTUSRID
  • JAVA TARGETING ENABLED indicates that Strobe for Java measurement targeting data was specified.
  • MEISA Produce Most Extensively Inactive Storage Areas Report.
  • MEMOBJ Produce the z/OS Memory Objects report.
  • MQTRAN Report IMS transaction-level detail on the CPU Usage by Module by MQSeries Call and Wait by Module by MQSeries Call reports.
  • NOCRPT indicates that you suppressed the CPU Usage by C/C++ function report.
  • NODASD indicates that you suppressed the DASD-level breakdown of the I/O Facility Usage report.
  • NODLI indicates that you suppressed the Activity by DL/I Request report.
  • NODSCS indicates that you suppressed the Data Set Characteristics Supplement report.
  • NOLOGO
  • NOMAP[=(modname[,modname,...])] Suppress module mapping.
  • NOMEMOBJ indicates that the z/OS Memory Object Report was suppressed and will not appear.
  • NOPROC indicates that you suppressed the detailed CPU use by Procedure report.
  • NOSQL
  • NOTASK indicates that you combined reporting of all tasks within the program into a single line in the Resource Demand Distribution and Time Distribution of Activity Level report. By default, the report shows a single entry for each task.
  • NOTRAN indicates that you suppressed the Transaction CPU Usage report.
  • OFFSET
  • TOPTEXT
  • WAITLOC specifies that relevant reports show the locations of wait within the program on the Wait Time by Module report. Normally, the report provides the total wait time for each program without noting the locations.
  • XLATE
