Manage Profile History

Profile History is a tool that helps you review the number of profiles a customer is using within iStrobe. This is only available to iStrobe administrators and uses data that has been stored in the database.

Profile History Summary

Profile History Summary is a date-range summary of the history of profiles by LPARs, which are represented as graphs and a data table.

The report provides the following graphs related to the CPU consumption for profiles running in the selected date range:

  • Average LPAR CPS Percent: reflects the average CPU usage in percentage
  • Average LPAR CPU Time: reflects the average CPU usage in seconds

The data table displays the time metrics that were observed when executing measurements collected within the LPARs.

Click an LPAR bar in the graph or the hyperlink in the data table to view the Profile History Detail for each profile under that LPAR.

Profile History Detail

Profile History Detail provides profile details for a specific date range. For each profile collected by iStrobe, you can view details such as the executed program, the job name, time spent on executing measurements, system usage, and so on.
