Views in the ISPW Plugin
The ISPW plugin consists of the following views:
- ISPW Assignment view: Displays the most recently used or created assignment container that the user intends to view its tasks, manage or perform work
- ISPW Approvals view: Lists approve/deny/reset sets requiring approval
- ISPW Component Versions view: Lists all component versions in the change cycle
- ISPW Components view: Lists components filtered by one or more of application, component type, component name, and application group
- ISPW Containers view: Lists assignments, sets, and releases
- ISPW Deployment view: Allows users to view and manage deployment requests and packages
- ISPW Generate Impacts view: Lists components impacted by the selected component so some or all may be generated at the same time
- Host Explorer view: Provides convenient navigation of mainframe resources (datasets, PDS members, DDIO source, and so one) as well as the ability to perform day-to-day operations on them
- ISPW Impacts view: Lists components that reference or call and are referenced by a chosen component
- ISPW Impacts Visualization: Gives a graphical representation of the results of an impacts analysis
- JES-Explorer-view: Is used to view held output, purge jobs, cancel jobs, and filter job lists within Host Explorer
- ISPW Parts view: Lists artifacts associated with a component
- Problems view: Displays compile diagnostics and lets users open the source code in an editor and position to the line causing the diagnostic
- ISPW Project Explorer view: Displays ISPW projects, which give users a convenient way to organize resources in a central location
- ISPW Promotion Analysis view: Shows the results of performing promotion analysis from the ISPW Assignment view
- ISPW Release view: Displays details about assignments and tasks related to a release.
- ISPW Repository Explorer view: Lets users manage components by type, application, and so on
- ISPW Servers view: Provides a list of servers
- ISPW Set view: Lets users view details about a set
- ISPW Task History view: Lists significant operations performed on a component in the change cycle
- ISPW Tasks view: Allows users to manage tasks in a chosen container
- ISPW Work List view: Displays work in progress
- Project Explorer view: Gives users a convenient way to organize resources in a central location in ISPW projects
The default presentation of the ISPW perspective contains certain views. Some ISPW views are dependent on a selection made in another view and are opened automatically if not already open when needed. Other views are entirely independent and are dependent only upon their filters.
To open views
- From the Window menu, select Show View>Other. The Show View dialog box appears.
- Toggle open ISPW, select the view to be opened, and click OK.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
