Select the Component Version

The Component Versions dialog box appears in the following circumstances in which multiple versions of the component exist in the ISPW repository. The dialog box displays the versions that exist and allows you to select the version to either check out or open for browse or edit.

• When you perform the Add Task action, and select the Checkout checkbox in the Add Task dialog box, and click OK. For more information, see Create-a-New-Task-or-Add-Tasks-to-an-Assignment.
• When you perform the Checkout action for a task that was added to an assignment container. For more information, see Create-a-New-Task-or-Add-Tasks-to-an-Assignment.
• When you perform the Import Local File action, after clicking OK in the Import dialog box. For more information, see Import-a-Local-File.
• When you perform an Edit or Browse action for a task that was added without checking it out, or for a task from the Components view because the level is not known. For more information, see Browse-and-Edit-Components.

To select the component version

On the Component Versions dialog box, select the component version and click OK. The selected version will either be checked out or opened for browse or edit.
