ISPW Search view

The ISPW Search view enables you to search for text in files.

To perform a basic text-based search

  1. Navigate to the Search dialog box by using the following options:
    • From the Search menu, select Search.
    • From the main window's toolbar, click Search.png.
    • Click Ctrl + H.
  2. In the Search dialog box, select the ISPW-Search_icon.png ISPW Search tab.
  3. In the Search for text field, specify the required text that you are looking for in the files.
  4. Specify the required values in the mandatory Stream and Application fields, and select the required State check box.
  5. Specify details in the other fields to further filter the search results.
  6. Click Search.
    The Search view appears displaying all the files containing the text being searched for.

To access the Search view

From the Window menu, select Show View>Other>Search>Search. The resultant Search view displays the search results, only if the search result has been populated before.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
