File-AID Data Editor Preferences

File-AID Data Editor preferences allow you to control settings and defaults for the various data formats you may access. To change your preferences, click Window>Preferences. The Preferences dialog box appears. Expand Compuware and select File-AID Data Editor. The Preferences for File-AID Data Editor are presented as a notebook with a series of tabs: General, MVS, DB2, JDBC, and IMS. Access each tab to control specific preferences by data type.
In addition to the Compuware>File-AID Data Editor preferences, general appearance preferences for Eclipse color and fonts can be used to control the color highlighting used in the data display and the font used in the vertical hex editor. See Eclipse Preferences for Colors and Fonts.
When you change your preferences settings, the updated preferences will be remembered the next time you start File-AID Data Editor. To restore the default settings, click Restore Defaults. Then click Apply or OK to accept your changes.
