Using the File-AID Explorer View


The following general functionality is available from the File-AID Explorer view:

  • Refresh a repository's content
  • Open a repository
  • Close a repository
  • Refresh an application's content
  • Expand nodes
  • Collapse nodes

To refresh a repository's content

Do either of the following:

  • Click Refresh.png.
  • Right-click the repository and select Refresh.

To open a repository

Do either of the following:

  • Double-click the repository.
  • Right-click the repository and select Open.

To close a repository

Right-click the repository and select Close.

To refresh an application's content

With the application's node expanded, right-click the node and select Refresh.

To expand nodes

Do any of the following:

  • To expand the selected node:
  • Double-click the nod
    • Right-click a node and select Expand.
    • Click ToggleNode.JPG next to a node.
  • To expand all nodes in all opened repositories, click ExpandAll.png.

To collapse nodes

Do any of the following:

  • To collapse the selected node:
    • Double-click the nod
    • Click ToggleClosed.JPG next to a node.
  • To collapse all nodes in all opened repositories, click CollapseAll.png.
