JES_Release a job
Follow the procedure below to release a held job for execution or output, depending on the job state.
To release one or more jobs
In the JES Explorer view, select all jobs to be released and then right-click and select the enabled “Release” option: Release for Printing or Release for Execution. Release for Printing releases jobs that have completed successfully or were canceled. Release for Execution releases jobs that have a Hold status and are currently executing or awaiting execution.
When a release action is selected, the Release Confirmation dialog box appears and prompts for confirmation before issuing the release command. A status message gives details about the release request.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
