JES_Hold a job


Follow the procedure below to hold a job for execution or for output, depending on the job state.

To hold one or more jobs

In the JES Explorer view, select all jobs to be held and then right-click and select Hold.

Warning

Important

This menu option is disabled for jobs that have completed or executing jobs that are already in Hold status.

When a hold action is selected, the Hold Confirmation dialog box appears and prompts for confirmation before issuing the hold command. A status message gives details about the hold request.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
