Offline_Importing and Exporting Compuware Mainframe Projects

Compuware Mainframe Projects can be exported from one workspace and imported into another using the Compuware Mainframe Project Import/Export Wizard. This process allows users to back up or create a copy of their projects, which can be handy before upgrading their Topaz Workbench release, or to share projects with other users or use the projects in a different workspace.

This means that the HCI host for the project could not be connected to or is not currently active. Review the Topaz log for possible connection errors and contact your systems administrator if needed.

    Important

  5. Do one of the following:
    • To import the project into the current workspace, select the Copy projects into workspace check box. A duplicate version of the project is copied to your workspace.
    • To access the projects from their original location rather than copying them to the current workspace, clear the Copy projects into workspace check box. Projects will be accessed from the location in the Select root directory field or the Select archive file field.
  6. If desired, select the Add project to working sets check box to copy projects into a working set and use the drop-down list or click Select to select the working set into which to copy the projects. If this check box is cleared, the projects are added to Project Explorer as standalone projects, not within a working set.
  7. Click Finish. The selected projects are available in the selected location along with one of the following icons:
