Topaz Workbench ISPW Eclipse User Guide

ISPW is an active work environment that coordinates and controls application development and support work. It makes life easy for ISPW users by invoking the right tool at the right point in the process. ISPW hides the underlying files and mechanics of application development. Developers don’t need to know file names or even how to generate modules because ISPW keeps that information in its repository instead of in documentation, procedures spaces, or the heads of the staff that work on those systems.

The ISPW Eclipse plug-in offers users of Windows (and other distributed platforms supported by Eclipse) access to many of the same ISPW facilities as a user of TSO/ISPF.

ISPW’s advanced server-based architecture provides the basis for being able to provide standard ISPW functions within the Eclipse framework.
