Opening a resource in File-AID data editor

Licensed File-AID Data Editor users can open VSAM, DDIO, DB2, and IMS files and PDS members housed in online projects in File-AID Data Editor.

To open resources in File-AID data editor

  1. In Project Explorer, right-click the resource and select either Open or File-AID Data Editor (the context menu options vary by resource type). The File-AID Data Editor Request dialog box appears.
  2. Refer to the Topaz Workbench File-AID Data Editor User Guide for how to complete this dialog box or click the Browse or Edit radio button to open the file in the editor.


 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
