Modify Container

Use this functionality to update an assignment's or a release's attributes.

To modify an assignment's attributes

1. In the ISPW Containers view, right-click an assignment and select Properties. The Modify Assignment dialog box appears.

2. Revise the fields as necessary based on the field definitions.

   Note: If the task should be associated with a release, select from the Default release list the release with which the task should be associated. Select the blank line to not relate assignments to a release. Optionally, to filter the list of releases, click Filter to open the Release Filter dialog box.

3. Click OK.

To modify a release's attributes

1. In the ISPW Containers view, right-click a release and select Properties. The Modify Release dialog box appears.

2. Revise the fields as necessary based on the field definitions.

   Note: The User tag field is only enabled if the logged in user ID matches the ID of the filtered owner.

3. Select the Change implementation date (yyyy-mm-dd) and time (hh:mm) check box to change the implementation date and time, then enter the desired date and time in the Date and Time fields.
4. Click OK.
