Host Explorer View

The Host Explorer provides convenient navigation of mainframe resources (datasets, PDS members, DDIO source, and so one) as well as the ability to perform day-to-day operations on them. Host Explorer also provides navigation for local Windows files and various types of distributed relational databases.

Columns, actions, and fields

To open the Host Explorer view

Do one of the following:

  • From the Window menu, select Show View>Host Explorer.
  • From the Window menu, select Show View>Other>Host Explorer>Host Explorer.
